Remembrance Service
Our last annual service took place at the Church of St Mary de Castro, Castle Street, Leicester, LE1 5WH
Christmas is all about families being together and so much of it centres around children – so when your child or baby isn’t physically there with you, the grief can feel even more acute and harder to bear. The service of Remembrance is an opportunity to come together with others, to remember, reflect and celebrate the lives of our precious children and loved ones who have died.
Although the service is held in a Church, we hope it will be acceptable to families of all faiths and those who have no religious affiliation. The emphasis throughout is to come together to remember and celebrate the short lives of our children who have died.
During the service, we read out the names of our the babies and children we are remembering.
Families also have an opportunity to light a candle in their memory and place a message on the Remembrance Tree.
Details of our next service will be posted nearer the time.
